General comments

  • Bij jonge kinderen zonder symptomen GEEN diagnostiek inzetten want deze kan positief zijn zonder behandelindicatie.
  • Stop zo mogelijk verantwoordelijke antibiotica.
  • Er zijn patiënten (langdurig antibiotica gebruik / M.Hirschprung / immuungecompromiteerd) mét verschijnselen én positieve toxineproductie (dus niet alleen positieve PCR) die baat kunnen hebben bij behandeling.
